Due to a surfeit of over-qualified applicants for crewing positions on Silkie (none of whom would I willingly disappoint) I have decided to seek a berth for myself elsewhere. Can you help?

It's a bit unusual for the captain to jump ship!

I currently have at least one, and possibly more, spare berths. Crew so far consists only of Hazard to Shipping (unless she's had a better offer elsewhere!)

It's decided then. I couldn't possibly allow that flame-haired innocent to put to sea with you unchaperoned. I know what you single-handers are like given half a chance. It'll be one hand for the ship and one for the crew I'll bet.

Unfortunately Superstrath's dropped out because of work commitments, so we have another space. Also, is Hazard with us or not? Doesn't really matter as long as we can sort it out before the Thursday. We would of course be delighted with her company.

We could operate a crew rota with Nick, Kathy, Jill & Kenny crewing on different boats each day!
