You still looking for a berth?

You would be very welcome on Fairwinds.

I'd already had a couple of offers by PM before anyone responded on forum and I've accepted a berth on the fat lady. Might do a bit of boat-hopping though since I've never sailed on the lovely Fairwinds - or a big Nic for that matter.

No just a combination of weather, family and the new job getting in the way of preparations.

Hmm - it could be, however Gigha would not be too wonderful with Easterlies?

How does towards Tobers on Saturday evening and then we have some options for Sunday, either carry on round or back the way we came - depending on the weather?
Not too ambitious I know but its such a changeable forecast. The countryfile forecast seemed to suggest High pressure for the weekend.

Did the troosers get a chef?

Gigha is pants in an Easterly, for sure - but Tayvallich might be an option.

Just looked at XC and it is completely different from yesterday ! Tide turns at the bottom of the SOM around midday on Saturday, nice run up the sound - but a biggish easterly blow on the Saturday night means the pontoons would be pretty bouncy.

Sunday is calmish so the world is our oyster, diesel permitting.

Nothing stopping us having a wander up to Oban for Friday, meander down to Carsaig or McCormic fer lunch then up tae tayvalliachers for the night on Saturday. As you say, the world is our Lobster from then on.
I think all talk of Gigha should now be banned.

Talk of Tobers should similarly be curtailed
Shard will have seen enough of the place for a while.
Didn't realise he had a hotel there though.....

Currently it is looking possible to go somewhere, but unlikely that we could return.
