So that's the 'wee health bugbear' sorted then is it? Good news.

Enjoy yourself with the family and we'll see you in August.

They used my mammary artery which sits quite close by the LAD which was the blocked one. I guess thats buggered up any ambitions I might have of breast feeding.
This all began last autumn when I was out cycling and felt pain in my chin, neck, chest and left arm. My GP diagnosed angina and referred me, had an angiogram which illustrated a non- stentable lesion.
I was the only patient on the wasd who hadn't had a heart attack so am feeling lucky and pleased to be through it. Dear heart is a bit fed up because I've had to tell her that I am not allowed to do housework for 3 years

Sorry, hadn't realised, but pleased it's gone OK. Stay well!

Thanks Donald
All seems fine - tiring easily just now but I've been out walking this past 3 days just along the lane. Hoping the warmer weather that is forecast will make that a bit pleasanter.
No plans for the boat yet but I can feel one brewing!

If only your surgeon had seen the exposed wires of the good shup Claymore last winter he would have understood that his own challenge in re-wiring your heartery was but a midge-bite on the arm of your yaacht’s electric issues.

Good to hear that you are recovering.

I am currently on a visitors’ mooring in Tayvallich having (a) forgotten to pack any bedding for an April cruise and (b) had to spend the whole of last night in the cockpit on anchor watch with this strong south-easterly. Sleeping in 4 fleeces is over-rated.

Its a testament to your own inner strength and fortitude that you survived to tell the tale. I'm slightly surprised that you didn't swallow the buggerums and just go and stay in a local hostelry - it being Tayvavyallyallich or however they pronounce it - yer fine shup wouldn't have drifted far and it would just have meant a wander round the bay until you found her, having rested well, breakfasted and built up yer already monumental perspicacity to sort the job out.
2 points
1) its good to get the mistakes we make done sooner rather than later
2) My late Mother used to go to a memory clinic - I think I still have the number somewhere

Have a great season - we'll meet up soon
