Oh dear. They might not have been the cheapest but if you needed a grip-thribley in a hurry there was a reasonable chance they would have one.

What a bummer...
I only occasionally went in on a mission for something, but I have drifted in (AKA magnet/iron filings) when on Kerrera and at Oban and come out with various things. Another Alladin's cave bites the dust.
Sad. Thankfully there are still a few (fishing boat) related chandlers scattered about further N & W, so you can still get some basic bits etc here and there..

Sad to see this close, but there again I think it's 20 years since I went in.
