Not a CQR then????
I was thinking of the chain!!

I managed to keep my fingers out of the hinge of the CQR.

I'd better hide my two genuine Bruce when you're here!

Last update.
All anchors and all chains completed.
Some have been collected already. (just saw too late to say hello, someone in this morning)

For good visibility of the financial side of this, here's the invoice.

That was probably me you saw this morning around 8. I was in a bit of a rush to get to work otherwise I would have tracked you down to thank you. Very pleased with the chain, should last a good few more years now.

Many thanks to Geoff and his staff for the lovely shiny chain that Mark collected today. It's almost a shame to get it muddy!

See that plan of always leaving someone's name off the list works. Ensures getting one reply from the one who thought they'd missed the boat and lost their chain/anchor!

Yes, your 90m chain is there, tagged with your name on it.

I've now got a shiny anchor and Dr Chris's chain looks pretty smart. Thanks Geoff, you're a star and I reckon you should be able to go for most of next season without having to buy a drink.

Collected my chain 10mm x 60m and it looks good. The very rusty last 2 m at the bitter end really shows up as you can see all the pits and crevices compared to the rest of the chain. I'll chop that off.

Many thanks to Geoff for his great offer, it has been a good help.

Was in late afternoon and collected my chain, brilliant Geoff thanks very much.

I asked the guy who gave me my Hi Vis and hat to wear if you were in, he told me your lights weren't on, thought that was a bit rude to speak of the boss like that, but hey ho :))

They think that anyone who does the types of thing I do, has a few lights not working! They're probably right.
But actually I was there till about 5pm.
