Batteries
Bought a new battery for Silkie from Costco. Bosch marine/leisure batteries 75Ah for £35 and 110Ah for £56 inc VAT. Seems like a decent price?

Sounds very good. I bought a 75 Ahr leisure battery from Halfords last year - can't remember what I paid, but the current cost is £54.99 inc VAT.
I've never been to Costco, but those who have seem to swear by it.

Did you really get a new battery for that price? Not bothered about the extras... I have crew for that.

Yes, buy the lot. If you can retro-fit the instant video replay facility you should be able to make a tidy profit.
BTW this is definitely the last time I'll post anything on here so straightforward as a battery price.

It's hard to believe that this battery lasted 13 seasons but it did and I'm now in the market for a new one. Does anyone have a recommendation for a reasonable quality/price make and/or supplier? A 13 year guarantee is not a requirement nor is 500Ah.
