TREM steaming light connections

Postby Nick » Tue Jul 02, 2019 10:21 pm

.
It says 'fasten the power supply cables to the lamp-holder with the proper female connectors'. The only place to fasten them is to the lampholders top and bottom, which have a tab on them. This tab is too small to fit a standard spade terminal on however.

Does anyone know what I am looking for and where I can get the appropriate cable terminations?

I think I would be inclined to try and solder them on, Nick
Then strap some tape on!

"Standard" terminals (blue insulation) are the middle size of the commonly used ones. Larger (yellow) and smaller (red) are also available, but less common. I would suggest having a look at the RS website.

It's the width, innit?

Yellowness, blueness and redness are to do with wire thickness.

Got some red 4.8mm spades, they work (with a little tweaking)
