....a busy space.
We had a great day sail from Craobh.
Took an anticlockwise tour of Balvicar Bay, under engine but with the main still up just as the wind picked up at 14.00hrs. Intended to dip our ensign to Fairwinds so headed towards her, and would have left the fishermen's pontoon to port but spotted a long floating line in front of us so made a change of course to leave the pontoon to starboard and left the bay while the going was good.
Motorsailed to Loch Melfort and then had a cracking beam reach to Kilmelford and back but the sunny weather / hills produced the microbursts of very strong wind that I remember from Loch Lomond.
We had ran into a massively long semifloating line, between a pot and a buoy, lying across the entrance to the bay at Craighouse earlier in the week, but managed to extricate ourselves without damage or further problem so I was feeling a bit wary.
