Is that not the one which is to be restored at Crinan boat yard, I heard that the new slipway was commisioned for the project.

Looks as though pic taken in a canal.

It is indeed in the Crinan canal. I assume there's a shed full of bits somewhere else.
Having watched the Carrick die in the hands of preservationists, I don't like the look of this one either.

This one looked fine a year or two back but I think it was a struggle keeping her up to scratch

The Vic 32 is still very much up and running. She has recently had a new boiler fitted. See http://www.savethepuffer.co.uk/ 2 off my friends sailed on her (sorry puffed on her)recently and I think she did end in Tayvallich midweek.

We seemed to follow her smokey wake on the year the pic was taken - there was a group of Canadians on board and at Craighouse they had arranged for a piper to march along the pier which was quite stirring.
I remember they baked some rather fine scones, one of which I managed to liberate.

She was anchored at the entrance to Loch Melfort on Wednesday morning.

She was used to bring the Mid Argyll pipe band into Crinan Basin for the classic boat festival and managed a fair rendition of Amazing Grace on her whistles.
