I think we should definitely have some.
I assume we will do the customary shared 'shop' at Tesco in Oban on the thursday, tho if Muzzy wants to bring a large pie and some canapes and champagne we would probably eat them too.

There is a quite new rod on the boat, should be ok but you might need to bring some fancy lures.

What you need is some Rapala's if its mackies you are after.
Used one of my Salmon Rapala's for Mackeral one day and had one on just as the Rap started to dive.
They make a brilliant wiggle movement in the water and the faster you are going the deeper they dive due to the spoon thingy at the head end.
A silver body with blue back is the best coloured one.
Screaming reels.
