Well, as of Wednesday, I now have the prop attached again, the engine de-winterised and the hull antifouled. She should be back in the water sometime between now and the middle of April - which will be the next time I'm able to get up to Craobh. (Something wrong here - this retirement lark was meant to give me lots of free time. Hmmm...) The sailmaker should be finished with the genoa about the same time. So, with a bit of cooperation from the weather, she should be ready in time for the CC, providing nothing nasty appears in the interim.

Keeping in mind the above caveats, I've got Bilbo signed up as crew so far, and could manage another if required. I'll post again once I know the boat's ready (or at least ready enough.) :)

Was just talking with Silkie - are we correct in assuming that Avilion is suitably afloat, kitted out and ready for Bilbo and yourself?

Oh yes! (But you all know that now... )

Is there a described condition covering the compulsion to respond to queries even after the effective date has passed?
