I'm assuming that the boats so far definitely/maybe committed are:

Eloise
Shard
Avilion
Wild Honey
Fairwinds
Silkie

although a couple of others have also expressed some interest. Please confirm or otherwise below.

cpedw and Ocklepoint had also expressed an interest although Derek is limited to the bare weekend I think.

I'd been hoping to get an idea of how many would sail on Friday morning and from where, so we could discuss towards where, weather permitting.

We will be sailing Fri morning - either from here or from Pullers or Dunstaffnage if we get the urge to go on Thursday.

(Oh and if we can get a dogsitter).

Tide is going ootae Cuan and N from about 10 onwards on the Friday (Springs). IF you want to get a bit of a fair tide past Duart and up to Salen that would be good for Tobermory.

Be good if you could make it to the Frog on Thursday for pre-cruise drinkies with Jim'n'Bev. What news of Timbo and HTS - are they sailing?

The tide is equally good for a Dunstaffnage departure.

Not sure about Tim but HTS is coming along as far as we know ( I'm not sure if she has asked permission).

Glad to see someone has taken over the mantle of cruise director.

I shall attempt to promote meaningful discussion of course, but no more.

Contributions from crew on this thread are welcome but only if they are very respectful.

Wildly optimistic.

Obviously there isn't much I can contribute here - reduced to the ranks of passage worker and mess-room anarchist I can't even empathise with anyone taking on the mantle of Cruise Director
Looking forward to it though - as is the Muz.

Wild Honey, Fairwinds and Silkie will meet in Dunstaffnage on Thursday evening wilth ljs also. The Shards have not filed a passage plan as yet but I'm hoping they will be able to overcome their pathological dislike of marinas for one night. I'll pay for your berth Donald, if that would help.

Where are you DaveS?

cpedw is hors de combat and Ocklepoint has presumably been too busy looking after the "less than well-behaved boys" to look in. tcm and motley crew will muster on Friday and join the fleet that night, with the blessing.

The tide obviously favours flood-going on Friday so..

I've been in bed with the cold for the last couple of days so just catching up...

Dunstaffnage for the Thursday night should be possible. I'll need to check tides and BB's travel arrangements. It's years since I've been into Dunstaffnage: are the pontoon fingers still these nasty wee short-arsed efforts or have things improved?

There will be three on board Shard; Mme Shard, Minnie Shard, and myself. I was half expecting Superstrath, but it seems he has other commitments that weekend.
