Here is a strange one. I work in Saudi Arabia and its the coldest April for 40 odd years.* I understand that May is forecast to be quite cold in the UK. I wonder if there is a trend** between these areas like for example the obvious Gulf go Mexico Hurricanes and Atlantic depressions. Its not the first time I have seen similarities in weather trends but it could be coincidence.
*Cold by Saudi standards, wonderful by Scottish.
