Met Office Web Page Changing - Beta Feedback

Postby BlowingOldBoots » Thu Nov 01, 2018 11:45 am

The Met Office is changing its web page layout. The Beta version can be accessed from the current web page where you can view some of the new styles and leave feedback. I do use the Met Office Web Page for inshore forecasts and synoptic chart information as well as vanilla forecasts for areas that I will be visiting. I have offered my opinion, for what it is.

If you feel inclined perhaps you could review too, after all they are our tax funded weather service. I have asked for the jet stream forecast to be added to their charts tab, wind symbols to be added in the forecast map that is displayed when the local area forecast is in view; currently it's rain radar or weather symbols, no wind. I also don't like the horizontal bars extending from weather symbols to indicate repeated weather over the forecast. It looks like a fault in the monitor rendering.
