THE GLOBALMAP 8200C - BIG SCREEN CHARTPLOTTING FOR ALL
Southampton Boat Show 2007, 14th Sept, Stand G052
On public display for the first time in the UK, the new GlobalMap 8200C chartplotter from Lowrance features the exceptionally high quality SolarMaxT TFT display for which Lowrance is famed, bringing ultra-high viewing quality as well a wide range of GPS and chartplotting functions to the UK yachting public at an exceptional price.
With an 8.4 inch (21.3 cm), 16-bit colour screen the GlobalMap 8200C makes big screen navigation accessible to a whole new class of yachtsman, enabling them to both fully appreciate the detail and take full advantage of the functionality available with both NauticPath and Navionics electronic charts.

As part of Lowrance's latest line-up, the GlobalMap 8200C features full NMEA-2000 connectivity as part of its in-built LowranceNET networking system. When connected to the necessary inputs this enables the GlobalMap to act as a display console for a wide range of data generating devices; including radar, echo sounders and Lowrance's highly regarded Fuel Management System. It also has two MMEA-0183 compatible duplex ports to accommodate equipment that has not been uprated to the new standard.
Additional functionality includes 37 map zoom ranges, the capacity to store 1000 unique waypoints, 1000 event markers and 100 routes, a one-touch man overboard function and much, much more. The unit also has two waterproof memory card slots and is itself fully sealed and
