Irish hospitality

Surely must have been a helluva party if they haven't surfaced online by now?

Perhaps it's still going on?

Tried their UK mobile as the SIMM has not been used for a year it was not working.

So must be chilling out in UK weather.

Fairwinds looked a bit bow down this morning. They must have slept in the ensuite!

Busy day . . .

Postby Nick » Wed Aug 01, 2007 5:59 pm

Full Irish breakfast

Shower

Organising laundry

Writing up the BLOG

erm . . . that's it really . . . off to the pub soon I expect. No. 1 son is arriving tomorrow on what he thinks is going to be a 'drinking holiday on the Irish coast' . . . I wonder if he remembers anything about sailing?

Dangerous weekend in Waterford - Sproiae or something like that, pronounced 'Spree' and being a weekend of music, street theatre and drinking . . . we will hopefully survive the Friday then drag Jeff away down the river and up the coast to Kilmore Quay on leg one of the last stage of our journey.

Why is there always a fiesta wherever we arive and will there be one in Seil when we return?

Great marina here in Waterford, right in the city centre and it's FREE because the council can't be bothered collecting money.

Hiya Nick & Kathy
Congrats on your ship-dodging traverse of Biscay and landfall in Ireland. Now you mention it, it does seem to be true - whatever port you put in to, there is a festival or summink going on. I reckon there'll be a few pints sunk in the T&T too when you get back to Balvicar.
Enjoy the black stuff in Ireland - looking forward to buying you both a few ales soon.
All the best
Steve & Ruth

Hi

Thamks for the help = I didn't really want it cyan, was merely fiddling and couldn't make it go away again, but nice to know there's help there when I need it! Not very legible is it? I'll probably give it up altogether
