Arrived on Isla Graciosa

Postby Nick » Wed Apr 18, 2007 7:28 pm

The irst hour was a birlliant sailwith speeds up to seven and a half knots, then a bashing crashing motor-sail in steep small seas.

But we are here - only six months after leaving Cascais with Ilsa Graciosa as our waypoint. Glad we have saved it to last - it is amazing.

(A fuller report to follow . . .)

Internet access is a bit pricey here, and don´t know if I will be able to upload blog files - but will keep you posted via the forum. Here for at least a week, then we willtake the first spell of North-Easterlies for Madeira.

Blog updated

Postby Nick » Fri Apr 20, 2007 6:19 pm

Have managed to update the blog as far as Wednesday, but there are still photos to add of Puerto Naos and Arrecife.

One picture of Graciosa so far, but more to follow when I have the time and electricity to organise them.

E2.81 a night here and the best place we have been in the Eastern Canaries by a long way. Got to go nowl, sundowners on Peter's boat (from Portree) this evening.
