The good Doctor Keeling and the Met Office are suggesting that next week will be a tad unsettled and that we would be better advised to go sailing from September 1st.
When I was a working person, I was always back in the Dream Factory by this date and would spend idle moments gazing out from my Ivory Tower across Morecambe Bay to the Fells beyond, marveling at the prevailing climatic conditions and rather wishing I was out there.
Last year we went cycling in Belgium in absolutely wonderful weather so I have every confidence that if we set off on August 31st we will be similarly blessed.
Talking of the weather, I see the divine Carol Kirkwood is going onto Strictly Come Dancing - I shall need an ice-cube poultice.

Re: Next Week
I sailed today - 'twas a grave error of judgement brought about by frustration at this year's weather to date. I'll be back in the big blue box next week of course.
