What a very fine fortnight

Postby Fingal » Mon Jul 22, 2013 1:02 pm

Left Dallens Bay on Monday 8th and thence to Oban to do some shopping and pick up crewmember #3, of on Tuesday to Drumbuie, Arisaig and Mallaig where #4 joined. From there an abortive attempt to visit the Utter Hebrides was followed by visits to Canna, Loch Scavaig, Eigg, Tobermory, Coll, Bull Hole, Martyr's Bay, Tinker's Hole, through Corryvreckan in thick fog to Craobh and then back via Easdale to base. Only 2 days of the fortnight involved running the motor for more than a coupe of hours or so, several days were tshirt and shorts and only two days was visibility a significant problem. About as good as it gets.
