I've spent the last couple of days firming up ideas for mid-July, which I still think should improve from around 9th/10th July for a week or so (don't hold me to it).
But before that we've next week to get over. My long range has been calling for an area of low pressure to be crossing the country somewhere between 3rd and 10th July, with an improvement thereafter. The low would bring strong winds with it with a risk of gales in the west. Captain Bob backed this up in his outlook too, although he thought conditions would be more showery. The problem we have is that only the ECMWF backs up the idea of the full-blown low right now.

See what you make of it and keep the sun shining!
