I have to work at a Roadshow in Poole. Grr. Still, at least I will get a chance to look at some boats and I've booked the following two weeks off to go sailing.

We will be setting off at the W/E, or shortly after, for a 3 week jolly. That includes the Jubilee I believe.

That depends on if your mum will let you play out

The Scottish Series is based in Tarbert that weekend - does that help with the decision making?

Enjoy the 3 weeks on the west coast.

Hopefully, yes, Fri to Tues inc, but we'll be on the wrong side of the MoK.
We could both ask for a radio check and listen out for the CCG reply to t'other.

We've set off! Tarbert (LF) thence down by motor/sail to Lochranza. More motor-sailing got us to Sanda Island (hotel closed until 2nd so free use of moorings).

Arrived Gigha past a headland (the name of which escapes me - I shall Mull it over). The moorings are lovely, but the Boathouse Bistro and the Cycle Hire places are shut. Fist bit of grey sky since we got here.

I'm planning to head for Craobh on Friday. I've got a few wee jobs to do on the boat first, but I should be ready to go sailing sometime late Saturday / early Sunday, maybe for a week. Not looked at tides or done any planning yet, though. Is there a holiday or something special happening this weekend?
