Apparantly they will have some bad weather tonight - a local bomb it has been described as. They may have to dispense with the pink sail!

Bad weather didn't materialise - pink sail going up again. Problem with the Yellow Brick transmissions which they are hoping to fix today.

I did wonder, they had the lead trimoran on a heading of 092 deg. :?

According to the brick they have moved up from 28th to 27th and it looks like they will be passing a few more soon.
Made up some good ground, they did say in there blog they had far to much diesel :wink:

I've been following it, and it is great. Did you note that they dropped the head of their spinnaker in the sea about a week ago - now that's the second boat that's dropped it's spi in the sea whilst Nick is crewing - coincidence? :nod: :shake:

I'd prefer to see the pole a tad higher in those conditions....

I'd drop the outer end to get the clews level, and fit bridles to the pole up and down hauls so that it doesn't bend and break in higher winds.
