SWIS supports 'Concerto' in AZAB2011

Postby weatherman » Fri Jun 03, 2011 8:44 am

Hi everyone,

Launching a new company is always a nerve-racking, but exhilarating experience, and the Sailing Information Weather Service has been no exception.

With your help and support, SWIS has become more popular over the month since it's launch than myself of Captain John (our technical chief) could ever have imagined; so a very big 'thank you' from us.

And now we are delighted to announce that SWIS is sponsoring a competing boat, 'Concerto' in the 10th Azores and Back 2011 race which starts on Saturday 5th June at 1pm from Falmouth.

A picture of Concerto proudly displaying our logo is shown below. I'll be forecasting for the crew, George Isted and Mark Anstey as they undertake this challenge.

You can follow their progress at http://www.azab2011.co.uk/blog/9-days-and-counting

This is a proud moment for SWIS and I wanted to share it with you.

Have a great weekend,
Simon
