Where is it?

Postby Mark » Sun Nov 22, 2009 11:55 am

Bad form to post a "where is it" while another one is in progress but I can't resist.

Found this while looking for a photo of Pladda Light house.

Where is it?

I think that might be looking NW ish up the sound of Mull from Ardtornish Bay. When I was a sail training practitioner we used to send the bosun quietly ashore to hide in the castle, then take the teenage trainees for a walk to see the 'haunted castle' after dinner at anchor. Said bosun would then do the whole whoohoo performance and cause shrieks of girlish terror...

Of course it might be somewhere else altogether.

You're spot on Border Maid!

It is indeed somewhere else altogether!

:-)

I can see where the guess came from, though.

That was well spotted! I should have got that one as I kept my boat at Kyleakin for a season.
