It seemed to be a white ensign you were having trouble with back in the other place . . .

Aye .. the periodic whinger! Amazing how unmoderated these forae are now where TCOTM ex Cobra25, Robin etc seem to get away with personal attacks ... would'nt have happened in Kim's day!

How's Silkie?

Though the Met office are forecasting "perhaps storm 10 near exposed headlands" later this evening and xcweather are predicting 58 kts so I hope I made a good job of those extra lines I put on last time up!

Don't know why TACO winds you up so much - TACO, ex-Cobra, is a troll - the real thing and very successful. I suspect he's never sailed in his puff.

Evidence:
never quotes from his sailing experiences
    never talks about his boat
    no pics
    no-one knows him
there was no such boat as a Cobra25
    Broadblue weblink - yeah, whatever
    consistently nasty
all his sailing "advice" (for street cred) comes from books, or most likely the internet eg his pathetic attack on Snowleopard:
"However i am impressed that you made it to windward in a force 9 with probable 10 metre waves. Which coastal station confirmed the force 9, it would be interesting to know the whereabouts of this event and at what time of year." (my underlining)

He's been very successful at stirring it all up.
