I think you are bein a tad harsh - the Elan doersn't look so bad to me - obviously no as pretty as the Claymore, but no bad.....

When boats turn up at the Wardens with a buoy on the foredeck they need a new mooring laying.
It's best if nothing breaks but I think I would rather have the strops go than the riser/swivel.
