Donald it was taken while approaching Kotor in Montenegro.
Reason for the mood, because I was woken at 5am instead of the intended 6am that morning! :shake:

Re: Fuel Polishing

Not sure if I am completly grasping the concept of fuel polishing. Does it not get polished while going through the filter while in circulation to a running engine? or is this not adequet enough? On my fuel filtration system the fuel goes through two of those Delco style filters, ie, through one the...

Re: This time of the year

Unfortunately, this is not really a retirement for me. More like an open ended gap year that I have been promising myself for the last 15 years. The date has always been set as Easter 2014. 50th Birthday. Various bairns dispatched up chimneys and down mines. Plastic timepiece for long service from ...

Re: Ups and down of boating.

I would have expected the riggers to supply the correct main sail sliders/slugs (or what ever they are called) to suit the new mast as they did for me, only I had to ask for more since he did not know exactly how many the sail used. Did you get a new boom? and if so ensure there is some means of att...

Re: Unidirectional handbrake

Just to add my twa pence worth here. I used to be a mechanic up until aprox 15yrs ago and at one time worked for JM group at Murray Volvo London rd and Charring x. Remember that the shoes are not just for the handbrake but also work with the foot brake. Car brakes normally work on a 60/40 effort, th...

Thanks for that Bill, enjoyable.
At least RLS had a view of the Torrons, dont think I caught a glimpse of any of them as I cautiously navigated through them!
