We've had some success with Avon Skin so Soft. Interested to hear you can buy it at the Green Welly stop. We've got ours from the coffee shop attached to the hotel at Crinan - just by the sea lock.

Dorus Mor

I'm sure you know it, but there's a useful eddy if you're late for the tide going south / east through the Dorus Mor. The flood curls back on itself along the north side, ie close to Craignish point. Its deep close to, so no worries from that point of view, and you come out of it by the very last li...

I do remember, as it happens - mainly because we were based in Dunstaffnage before we moved down to Ardfern and always noticed Silkie as one of the few other small boats. Even saw yourself once, I think!

Porpoises, seals, and unmistakably a couple of puffins swimming frantically out of the way in the Sound of Jura at the weekend. Lovely weather.
