Re: Eh?

Anyhow, I am not sure as a Sassenach I am particularly welcome in the current climate, it does in fact put me off visiting if I am truly honest. I've never been made anything other than totally welcome in the Celtic fringes, the people are as lovely as the scenery. Mind you last time I heard any an...

Re: Jura trip - A belated thanks and a salutory tale

|If anyone is looking for a charter from the West Coast, we charterd with Portway Yacht Charters. David Lyle and Crystal Yacht Charters are good too. (and if you hire one of his boats you can be sure it hasn't been raped by a lifeboat! ) Seriously, glad you had a good trip and a story to tell!

Re: Nice shot of my local

Thanks for putting that on. Superb!

Been there once and loved it. Almost breaks my heart that you get to see it every day while I languish on the South Coast.

Re: Sailing different places.

I weekend sail in the Solent and Holiday on the West Coast and in the Med.

The South Coast is s**t. All of it. Don't waste your time and money sailing down here.

So, I'm reading a bio biography of Lt-Col HG Hasler DSO, OBE,RM.

Mrs Windfinder wanders in, takes a look at the title enthusiastically demands that she gets next read then wanders out quietly singing "Heart Of Glass" to herself. Bless 'em.
