Not me Nick, but thanks for bringing it to my attention. I would hate to think I had transgressed, and I feel cleansed for you pointing that out.

Re: Jessica Watson

Strikes me as simply a way of getting sponsorship. The age thing is pointless otherwise. Don't like it, it does nothing for me, just too much of a freak show concept. Re: Coastguard Search and Rescue helicopters

Years ago, the helicopters on the rigs were SAR equipped to respond in under 2 minutes, for the very reasons you give Nick: Its too far to respond.
Ours were SA365C and SA365N.
The Super Pumas weren't thus equipped if I recall.
Has that practice now ceased?

Re: Your farts correspondant from the South

I am making an assumption that you have insufficient 'force de vent' to conclude a successful double ender. Well, your account is still up. Last post Yesterday at 18:33 Within the compass of this post, I can do no more than indicate, as concisely as I can, relevant considerations that must be taken into account if we are to discuss James Bragg's clumsy catch-phrases in a rational manner. But before I cont...

Re: GRP reinforcement

Silkie has some stress cracking along the radius where the cockpit seats meet the coaming and I plan to reinforce this area (when the weather warms up a little) from the underside which is accessible from the quarter berth. I've not worked with glass cloth and polyester resin before but it seems st...
