Re: Strange light in the sky.

We're hoping to get away for a few days from tomorrow. That'll be the end of the good weather then

Re: filming

The pier at Loch Melfort is probably a contender. Depth at all states of the tide and a nice situation to boot.

Re: Poorly marked lobster pots and fishing gear - Petition

It's rare that I've seen poorly marked fishing gear on the west coast.

Re: Well yer a boring bunch a fannies . . .

Love to share your vision, BoB, but post independence, SNP will still rule the roost - I don't see any fledgling parties standing in the wings and no-one with the political clout to start anything new off. Conservatives are unelectable (don't know why, anyone hazard a guess?), Labour will struggle....

Re: Well yer a boring bunch a fannies . . .

On the Scottish Independence point that you make, I don't agree that it would be an SNP, or socialist, bankrupt outcome. I believe that the SNP would have their wings clipped post independence and hopefully we would see the rise of new parties and the destruction of Labour as a political party. Pos...

Re: Well yer a boring bunch a fannies . . .

It is up to government to create equitable taxation systems and implement humane employment and wages legislation. And/ or up to us to not spend our hard earned with greedy corporations... That's very true but as a form of protest it really needs to be coordinated at a national level to be effectiv...

Re: Plan B lives again

Hi Nick Have only seen that there seems to be a few Dufours for sale - quite a popular make in Gran Canaria at any rate. There doesn't appear to be that many sub 30' boats at all unless they are day sailors or mobs. Most boats have arrived here under their own steam. A number of boats appeared prett...

Re: Plan B lives again

Well. Gran Canaria and especially Las Palmas has been in party mode for the last week or so and continues for some time to come. Locally called Carneval the main square here has been converted into a mini television studio and theatre. Last night was the finals of the Drag Queen Gala which was reall...
