Re: Old money (not for rope)

Also had a lovely day yesterday not doing much. Spent a pleasant hour or so at the Waterfront in Greenock for a swim. Old round pounds came in handy for the lockers as Inverclyde Council have not been updated with the knowledge that the coinage has changed.

That's all very well, but Tulsa must be about, what, 24 hours away?

Re: The complex questions of life

To undo the top button, one has to undo the belt as normally the buckle covers the button.

Re: The complex questions of life

Hope I can help with the finer detail.
I wear Levi 501s with a button fly. To use a urinal I have to undo all the buttons. Not that I'm boasting that is a size thing or anything

She's looking good, indeed. Unfortunately don't recognise the Puilladobhrain you're in. Looks suspiciously like Loch Crinan?

Re: Should be in Lochaline Wednesday

Must be brand new. We were in Puilladobhran last Thursday and no pontoon to be seen? Sure you're chartplotter wasn't playing up and you were actually in Oban? Easy mistake.

Re: Strange light in the sky.

Well. Came skooshing up the Kilbrennan Sound yesterday after a good decision not to go either to Rathlin or Gigha. Home for a couple of days before trying again though have to be back in the Clyde on Saturday for a Saboo do.

Now in Campbeltown after a cold but pleasant sail down from Kames. Quite nice here.

We're hoping to get away for a few days from tomorrow. That'll be the end of the good weather then

Re: filming

The pier at Loch Melfort is probably a contender. Depth at all states of the tide and a nice situation to boot.

Re: Poorly marked lobster pots and fishing gear - Petition

It's rare that I've seen poorly marked fishing gear on the west coast.
