Re: Serving

My thinking is that I'll not be allowed in Gods Country for at least 9 weeks from now - so long as there is no 2nd spike. I hope it’s a lot sooner than that...if folk behave it will be. But people are idiots. Selfish idiots. I’m coming to accept the fact that I hate the general public and now need ...

Re: Serving

I can assure yer Lardship that no slur on Balcardines fynest internet guru was intended, especially as he has just PM’d me the link to his own private collection of scenic seaside postcards on the dark web. As for locations to sit in the sun pouring beer doon yer neck I fear it might be a week or tw...

It would seem my inter web net provider is not a fan of Bluemoment and has blocked access to it.. Mrs Wully had the same issue with her own Weebly web site - she could log in off her phone and iPad on data but not over the wee hoose Internet. It seems , according to Weebly, that Origin broadband thi...

I would think/hope that ....... murdering, gowlf etc will be permitted.... Why murdering Wully? Is there someone out there that needs seeing to? ‘Coarse Fishing’ I think is the term used for catching fish you don’t eat.. I used to watch those sados sitting on the Loch side catching roach, perch and...

Re: Restart Scottish Sailing Consultation

Next Gate to pass through is up ahead, on the 28th of May. Let's see if this outdoor sports activity translates into sailing and out door work relaxing translates into boat launching. I hope so, but for the avoidance of being flamed, I hope so if the science dictates that. I would think/hope that s...

Re: Restart Scottish Sailing Consultation

I can stroll across the Craobhie car park to my boat. She is ready for sea - once I bend on the sails. I’m having to pay marina fees when a perfectly good mooring lies empty over the hill in Ardfern. I could nip round in a couple of hours and save myself enough money to keep Claymore in whusky for a...

Re: Fixing a hole in a boat

I fear this lockdown is having an undesirable effe...

Wid that be an essential journey?

Nae buddy iss oot oan the watter so nae buddies hittin nuthin.. Even Calmac is keeping a low profile. Spooky quiet up here. No fishing boats, no sailie boaties - only some fish farm boats chugging about. No planes droning overhead, no vapour trails, No cars or motorbikes howling up the bealach. All ...

Re: Taking the Plung

Heater? Worth having here if you like being dry and warm....

Save a fortune if you must have a blown air one by fitting a Planer - Eberspacher/Webasto are massively overpriced.

Better still fit a Reflecks of Dickinson and avoid the power consumption and noise issues.

I’m going to wander down there next week and crack on with the jobs list as we will have run out of house job work list materials..

Looking forward to bending on the sails. Then not going anywhere.
