Aye, but at least he’d secured it to the pontoon cleat with a very pretty bow.

Here’s a foatie for ‘Greetin’ Face’ Took it yesterday. Poor wee boat is feeling awfae lonely and abandoned but I telt her the Laird would be back soon enough. Re: New Argyll Navigation Warning.

Terrifying, not only from the speed POV, but also now a falling from height risk. I bet it is great fun. Is it more stable than a conventional windsurfer once on the foil, or is it very tippy? It isn’t as fast as a conventional slalom board but is a lot less physical. Stability... Once foiling IF y...

Re: New Argyll Navigation Warning.

How does that work then? Does it fit into the skeg slot or centre board slot? This foil fits into the ‘deep Tuttle’ skeg box but this board can take both types of foil mount. I think there are only two boards on the market now that have a centre board... The board it’s self is interesting as it’s a...

New Argyll Navigation Warning.

What could possibly go wrong? A new navigation hazard exists on the approaches to Ardfern or Craobh - depending on the wind direction. Mariners are advised it’s pointless trying to take evasive action as this vessel will be steering an erratic course if at speed and will be at times partially or tot...

Re: Restart Scottish Sailing Consultation

You will no doubt be pleased to learn that we had a most excellent sail in warm SE breezes - wearing shorts, tee shirts and big stupid smiles. Slightly sunburned though. Not another sailie boatie in sight, just one wee creel boat and some fish farm stuff. Another boat did leave Craobh about an hour ...

Re: Serving

Erm.... is it a new to the boat Autohelm? I might be set up for mounting to port and you have it mounted on starboard? There is a wee screw for selecting which, might be worth a turn of that screw? I spent a while going round in circles off Troon marina with a ‘new’ Autohelm... Have you checked Crao...
