Charlie Barr
Won it 3 times. He was Herreshoff's skipper of choice winning on Columbia (twice) and Reliance.
Add in the transatlantic record that stood for 100years. Not too shabby for a Greenock boy

Re: Colvic Watson Jura 35 & Veracity 35 Motor Sailers

why don't you call around some of the marine surveyors (Maitland Murray, Survey one, Fraser Noble etc) as one of them is bound to have been involved if there was a big insurance claim.
they may also have been involved in surveying them when they changed hands :D

No blue flashing lights or other reactions as there were lots of other pyrotechincs being set off at the same time. It was disappointin...

Re: Far's This?

When I look at the harbour entrances all along the Morayshire coast and think about the early fishing boats and their crew, it leaves me with a great respect for the skills and stamina of the skippers and crew of those boats.

Re: Have I gone too far?

The only thing I would add (but unfortumately not available from Northstar) is a compass display (like the ST60 Compass). You set the bearing and then just keep the needle pointing up. The northstart autopilot (AP380) is a great piece of kit, or it was when branded Navman, so if you don't already ha...
