Re: News on Covid and Access Issues

We had a programme on TV the other evening - Paul Merson's scottish something or other tours. This episode was focused on Coll and the owner of the Castle was on. Re: Oh dear. 4108 RIP?

Aha! We had a failed lock and steamship on a Gents cruise -coming away from Tayvallich. Para Handy - my resident engineer traced it to the vetus anti syphon device and naturally being a good owner, I allowed him to draw one out of stores which he did and all was fine after that. No water got into th...

Re: Restart Scottish Sailing Consultation

I once witnessed a rather spectacular display at Kerrera Marina when someone was leaving and got their dinghy hooked around the Meter box which also had a water pipe in it. - the meter box got bent over to about 72 degrees list then the water sprayed in the most beautiful cascade and ignited the ele...

Re: New Tool Box From Gash Wood

What a wonderful construction - fine example of joinery. Nicely cut and the corners are exceptionally well measured and clearly the designer worked closely with the construction team to produce this magnificent tool box. A credit to all concerned. If - and its only a little if - IF I could offer a w...

Re: EU 90 Day Rule Post Brexit for British Citizens, UK 180 Day Rule For EU Citizens

It is an interesting situation. Yet another reason why we should never be leaving but there we go. My travel insurance policy only allows me 23 days in any trip abroad and I've never quite found out how to alter that - I could change companies but age and health combine to develop some eye watering ...
