Re: A riddle

I agree with solwaycruiser, the water level will go down. While on board, the anchor will contribute to the overall displacement of the vessel, and will displace its own weight of water. Once it is overboard it will displace its own volume of water, which is obviously less than its own weight of wa...

Re: Dezinced Propellor and New Propellor

I fitted a feathering Kiwiprop to Avilion and was very happy with it. I tried some experimentation over a number of years with the blade angles to try to get max revs from the engine, but concluded that the manufacturer's original settings were optimal. A bad passage in a gale off Skye made the poin...

. Did you know that if you place one testicle on the top of an empty whisky bottle and heat the bottom with a lighter, it sucks your testicle into the bottle, if you did know this, do you know how to reverse it, asking for a friend Speaking without any personal experience, but purely from the engin...

Re: Drinks

OK,

I intend to be in the Doric tonight (Tue 10/12/19). If my train's on time I should be there a few minutes before 2000. Hopefully see people there - if no-one turns up I'll just read my Private Eye in a corner.
