Avy-J - the story so far.

. We bought Avy-J (a Morgan Giles 30) for £3,500 in August 2017 using the proceeds from the sale of Catherine's Merc. The plan was a budget ocean going yacht for £10k max that we could sail to the Canaries and use as a Winter hideaway and occasional cruise round the Canaries (+ maybe Madeira and th...

Rather than having to run the engine unneccesarily I would invest in ...

Re: Brokers- perhaps not a total waste of time after all

I've seen a boat with Mark Cameron Yachts that I want . . .

Re: Where is it?

Virtual pint for Ghillie and Fairy . . . .

Taken from the good ship Feodhair (Twister)

On our way to Shetland and Norway in 2010 . . . . the last time Fairwinds 'went foreign' (if we exclude the Isle of Man)

Re: Where is it?

Flappy things went up shortly after this was taken. Had not been much wind and a bit of a tidal gate to traverse.

Wanted to borrow - GPS aerial

I've got a Garmin 128 on Avy-J that powers up but can't find any satellites.

I would like to borrow a GPS aerial for an hour to see if it is the unit or the aerial.

Anyone got one lying around?
