Re: What Am I?

Boom preventer.

On that subject, why is an accidental gybe sometimes called a Chinese gybe?

Re: How to get launched?

I'm probably in the same yard as you since I got a similar email. If they don't want customers infecting their staff, I wonder if they would launch you onto one of their buoys, and you could then dinghy out and take it from there. Its early days yet, I wasn't planning on launching until around Easte...

Re: Tunnocks Flotilla May 2nd 2020

Re: Moribund doesn't even begin to cover it

Ma hoose is also in bits. More reason to spend time at the boat.

Why is it that a 1970s house has 40-odd years of really crap DIY done to it that I have to fix before I can actually do any improvements. Why don't these eejits just leave things alone? Is a 1970s boat the same?

Re: The mystery of the invisible politician

C4 already did this with a block of ice. But got dragged through the courts. Anyway, it seems to no longer matter what a politician says or does, if he seems like a good laugh, he gets votes. We have become Italy. Without the food, wine or weather.

Re: small inflatable dinghy

Due to lack of interest so far, I'm doing a black Friday special on this. So any offer whatsoever will be seriously considered just so I can get it out of the garage. Need a pump? Need a set of oars? Then get the dinghy free.

small inflatable dinghy

1.6m compass inflatable for sale, hard transom type with seat, oars, pump and bag. Officially 2-man but realistically 1-man plus either a small dog or a couple of bags of shopping (hence the sale). Ideal for rowing out to a boat on a mooring. Small size means it stows easily in a locker. Used, but r...
