Where do we go from here?

Will send you a couple of pics of Vegas with extentions (back and front) if you really fancy a bigger boat. We will be wintering in Marmaris Turkey and you are welcome to visit us for some relief from Scottish winter blues, just drop us a line.

Congratulations

Congratulations to you both on your safe return to Sconny Botland. A marvellous voyage and one you should be proud off. Only downside is we will now have to find a new log to follow. Where do you go from here?

Research - and the answer is!

Ignor the previous question. When I went back to the Blog the voting screen was there. The votes from the Alba Team have now been cast.

As one door opens (you know the rest)

Hi Nick, I was surprised to read in one of your earlier postings that you were happy to be living on a monthly budget of £800 per month. We have been spending on average just over £500 per month without scrimping and that's with a 44ft yacht wintering in a marina here in Italy. How much beer are y...

Life at Sea

Just read your latest report with interest and my advice is. Don't get hung up about what you might have missed, life is a splended adventure whether you turn right, left or go straight on. We were going to Croatia until we started getting a number of bad reports from cruisers who have just come fro...

Bonne Natale from Italy

Just read your last log and our hearts go out to you, we can imagine what your disappointment must be like. But as everyone is saying 'it was the right decision'. In cruising there are no timetables, no schedules, only a destination and you will make it one day! We have just had two days of torrenti...

Butter, what butter?

Congrats on reaching the Canaries. Looks like you are heading south on your next leg, I take it the butter hasn't melted yet. If you visit Grenada on the other side let me know and I will give you a contact. Anne's in Scotland and says it's freezing, so maybe life isn't so bad. Keep the reports comi...

Grib Files

Hi Nick, I use Grib Files and overlay them on my MaxSea nav programme. I will assemble an e-mail with the programme files and data host I use and send them to you in the next few days. The system works well and will give you up to 5 day forecasts. In the meantime relax and enjoy your stay in Maderia...

Life on the Ocean Waves
