Re: Edinburgh or Greenock to Ardfern?

I was looking for someone like Anne and Tim, popping up to their boat after staying at their Ed'burg pad. Is she on this forum? Claymore would know. Yes, one has been a member here for some time, but hasn't posted lately as I mislaid my note of my password. Maybe we could meet, and sort out somethi...

Re: Perception of Self

When do you take delivery of the new yat? It's a bit late for this season, early next year would be good? One hopes that the new Rustler 44 will be ready for one's summer hols in 2012. Tim is sooo excited, and can hardly wait. One could have bought a used 2009 model which is being sold by SolentBoy...

One is just testing. When one clicks View posts since last visit , one has pages and pages, over 8, all with little orange flags. Once one has read the post, and returns to the list either by using the back button, or by clicking on BlueMoment Forum Index and then View posts since last visit again t...

HRH-A hasn't posted here for quite a while. Do you think she's fallen out with us? How could one refuse such an eloquent invitation from the 'bearded one’? One has been 'lurking' and has been tempted to post on a number of threads, but there are so many new members on this forum and one has ...

Re: machurley

My Dearest Little Boy Blue Cute name - nothing to do with Blue Tongue, one hopes. well i was wondering about that as well but didn`t think i had the social standing to suggest that combining the 2 would put him past it :) Silkie would never be past it. Oh, you mean past 1,000, not past IT. One is ha...

Alter Ego

My Dearest Silkie One would not wish to spoil the celebrations of your KiloPost, but one must discuss the following. One's security forces tell one that yourself had an alter ego, viz 153.......MacHurley22........Scotland.....26 Feb 2005.....37 Should these 37 posts not be added to your total, which...

Re Rankings

One thought that one should pop in and say Hi, and check that Auld Nick has not deleted one as a spammer. One notes that prior to this post, one just makes it on to the first page at no 50. One also notes that that that lovely man, Silkie, is at the top of the list. It would seem that he is too busy...

Re: Bold Young Man

Does one read one's blog? One certainly does. One now has the Range Rover set up with 12/240V inverter and laptop with GPRS, and if one has a driver, one amuses oneself by surfing the net. If one googles on Silkie , one finds loads of links to photos of both the good ship Silkie , and her skipper. ...

Bold Young Man

Silkie - (does that refer to your beard?) One would like to thank one for jogging one's memory. BTW - Are you one of those rough but decent men? You sound just the man for a leadership role in my army. The article in question was, one seems to remember, a draining board. One certainly remembers thro...

My Loyal Subject

One has to hope that one has not raised false hope in the heart of your goodself and those of your fellow decent men. One understood from the early posts that drink was to be consumed on the 29th, when indeed I could be available, but alas on Saturday I am engaged on business outwith the country, vi...

Happy Birthday

One would wish to take this opportunity to wish Claymore A Very Happy Birthday One still has the pleasant memory of meeting the man himself in a chandlery, and if Tim hadn't been aboard the old Rustler, then one would have been tempted to invite C for a G&T. If one can find enough swinging room ...
