Re: Bluemoment Defunct?

It some form of whithdrawl symptoms I think - at least for me. Probably did more seamiles, and spent more nights afloat than for a few years, even if broken into many shorter trips, and now having stripped the boats contents ready for lifting oot, I'm wandering about wondering what to do. I'm getti...

Re: Cheap Kitchen For Sale Newcastle

. I'm getting fed up with deleting these kitchen barstewards - it's time to fight back. I've approved this particular wee sh1te because I want all of you to spam the feck out of his contact form with as much vigor as you can muster. Let's send at least 100 spam enquiries. Be sure to mention forum s...

Re: In an idle moment

I decided it would be a good idea to produce a manual for ma fine shup - If I became incapacitated or departed this life, I'm not sure anyone would find it easy to understand how everything works. Anyone else done something like this? - I secretly contacted the Webster himself to discuss a website ...

Re: I find it interesting

Flare disposal is easy. Give them to the people you but new ones from. If they refuse then take your money to someone who will take them. Some chandlers - not all - will take time expired flares if you bought from them, but none will take old TEPs of unknown origin. Threatening to buy your Coastal ...

Re: I find it interesting

That our Lord and Webmaster posts about shifting his time-expired flares on TOP but chooses not to tap into the collective knowledge and experience that is gathered here. What does that say of his opinion of our opinions? I felt rejected and cried all day and night. I still sob with a heaving chest...

Re: I went for a walk today.

hum, I felt I was running the risk of finding this thread a bit disappointing, and so it has transpired. I think i was kinda hoping it would be like the diary of someone living in Dallas in 1963 "I went for a walk today and imagine my surprise when the President swung past and then suddenly...&...

Re: Flodden quincentennial

. You don't rate Culloden as a proper international match then? Well, meh, Culloden only arguably an international match, but more of a B-team affair contested by less than a quarter of the crowd than that which attended at Flodden, and no axshul genuine kings on the Culloden pitch, just one Prince...

Flodden quincentennial

That's 500 years ago today. Last (non-football-related) battle between England and Scotland. 1-0 to England king-wise, James IV copping it, rather bad news altho an understandable move that he inititiated - married to Henry VIII's sister, who amongst can honestly say they have never wanted to declar...

Re: The Awards

ooh this is a touch unfair - K and I actually went on TWO different boats (albeit a total of 2hours max) which is more than anyone else managed during the er event, and in nasty weather conditions too. Thinking about it, Nick didn't go on his own (of any?) boat at all during the CC, did he? So I rea...

Re: Friday - Saturday update

Skulking in the Loch Melfort Hotel now, we spent the day splashing around, saw the crinan canal and sed bye to Claysie who was packing at Ardfern. We're off south toemorrow Monday. The sun did actually shine on Sunday as predicted by Nick, but only for a few moments, and then the rain returned.

Friday - Saturday update

Shard didn't make it to the T+T but most did, and we played some music. We played some music and the bar cleared, and eventually 6 of us headed off in one small hire car to try out DaveS's and also Silkies Tesco Abelour, and we established the the seven dwarves according to W Disney are Dopey, Sleep...

Cautious start

I found the boat, the rain and the New Canvas Covers, but the saloon full of mainsail and unenthusiastic elctric bog forced a re-group chez Webcraft and thence the Queens in Oban. This morning I plan to head out (in the car) towards Ardfern, possibly via Balvicar, again...
