I agree with Blowing old Boots The creel fishermen are out making their living, in all weathers and all year around. Cruising yachtsmen are at sea by choice. Inshore creel fishing is also one of the most dangerous occupations in the UK and not very profitable (hence single-person boats) so why burde...

bowlines are the simplest and easiest and mean you can easily remove one or both sheets if necessary (if a sheet gets chafed or damaged.
