Re: Oyster 26 for sale

Lovely boat but looking at the images, this one has been let go. When immaculate Ruffians are only fetching £2-3k I think this is about £6k too expensive.

Re: Do we think

Thanks Pete
I've got alternative power sources so am OK - I was just wondering from a very non-technical perspective whether the red jobbie that I can plug my phone into for a charge would do for the handheld vhf.
Hows things and hows the Micro?

Re: I never realised

Shuggipoos Its a testament to your own inner strength and fortitude that you survived to tell the tale. I'm slightly surprised that you didn't swallow the buggerums and just go and stay in a local hostelry - it being Tayvavyallyallich or however they pronounce it - yer fine shup wouldn't have drifte...

Re: I never realised

Released from Blackpool Hospital with a single heart-bypass that seems to have gone well. Sorry, hadn't realised, but pleased it's gone OK. Stay well! Thanks Donald All seems fine - tiring easily just now but I've been out walking this past 3 days just along the lane. Hoping the warmer weather that...

Re: I never realised

They used my mammary artery which sits quite close by the LAD which was the blocked one. I guess thats buggered up any ambitions I might have of breast feeding. This all began last autumn when I was out cycling and felt pain in my chin, neck, chest and left arm. My GP diagnosed angina and referred m...

Re: Yacht Juma

Possibly not - I think I might try the Oban Times archive as a starting point then perhaps look up Mr Cameron in any Tarbert information there might be. Its a fascinating log I have of the summer cruise - they started in Glasgow and there are a couple of photos of Queen Elizabeth being fitted out. T...

Yacht Juma

exploded in Tarbert, Loch Fyne in 1939.
She was owned by my late Brother in Law's Grandfather and I'm trying to gather information about the yacht and the incident which proved to be her demise.
Any of you researchers out there point me in any direction?
thanks
