Never thought Caolas Scalpay was a breathing problem until this August, when we had to hang onto the 3rd reef to point high enough to scrape through, dropping the main completely and proceeding to Portree under a scrap of genoa thereafter.

Does anyone ever sail there? It's not exactly on the way to anywhere and has never seemed like a potetially rewarding detour.

Jura Music Festival

On average this is visited by Fairwinds one year in five. Turns out 2018 was one of those years. Wild gusty ride there and back, excellent music - particularly fine to see Skipinnish playing in the Cooperage on Sunday.

We were on Eigg Saturday/Sunday last week and did not see anything about this.

(We were not in the inner harbour though)
