we had this issue in my mates twister last month, which meant having to come back under sail from the treshnish isles to glencoe, (cept we ended up in oban after 2 days when the wind died completely, but thats another story) It is indeed the engine running on oil, and the fuel stop makes no differen...

Hi Nick, I have used the downloads before, been really useful.

I see there is a yanmar workshop one now, but the link is actually going to the perkins manual. That would be a very useful one when it's sorted.

we'll be in Ardfern next week, from the tue eve, sorting out and launching the twister 28 my mate has just bought, skyros. Then we'll come back the following week to move her to her mooring in glencoe.
