We sailed from Out Skerries to Måløy on the way out, and did consider the Tananger option on the way back, but the prospect of two overnights without a windvane put us off that idea. As you say, odd that they hadn't hit it before coming in and out of Loch Uiskevagh.

Their draught is supposedly 5.1m, so I don't think I need to worry about it too much. ;)

Further down the page the death is announced of Anne "Cookie" Flavell who ran Seafare in Tobermory. I wouldn't have thought she was very old, in my terms anyway; the announcement in the paper doesn't say how old she was. Bumped into Jim Traynor in the yard the other day who said that Cook...
